hey! my friend here in school wants to know what program(s) is(are) used to make these great fractal images what do you people use?...and is it freeware/shareware/software?....and finally where do i get it? ~John

I use the registered version of Ultrafractal 3.xx I was searching for a program that is easy to handle.UF is the best for me. Im a beginner but UF gives nice results even though Im relatively new to it.

I find Fractal Explorer to be my program of choice in that it is not only free (so that you can take your time in playing with/learning fractals) but that it is fairly easy to learn. If you can pay for it, UltraFractal is pretty nice as well, but, I found the interface to be a tad more difficult then FE...
