Subject: Morgana for V3

Anyone with a long memory knows that StefyZZ and I have had our philosophical differences in the past. And while I thought her Gaia obviously was a texture she'd put a lot of effort into, I didn't find it to be all that aesthetically appealing or useful. But I just bought her latest package, the Morgana/Midori texture for V3, and this one knocks me flat. This render is with the textures reduced to half of the resolution StefyZZ provides them at, and they're still the most realistic-looking ones I've seen.

It looks pretty good but it's hard to tell from this distance.....I call myself keeping an eye out for V3 stuff and I haven't seen this and it's not in the StefyZZ store here....where is it?

There are other images with closeups in full resolution at her site. That might help you judge better. The texture is for sale at her store there (www.zeta3d.com)

I have a few problems with this texture. While I do think that SteffyZZ is one of the best skin texturers around, this particular texture has wrinkles on the forehead that don't look realistic and the pores on the cheeks and chin are too large. Just my 2% of a dollar :o). Laurie

Funny, I like it old. I had wrinkles on my forehead as a teen from holding my eyebrows up-- otherwise, I looked like a chimp. Like Fauve, I thought Gaia was lovely but waaaaay too perfect. Emily

I did not like Gaia at all, her texture was useless on my Fairy's. Now her Yuma, yoda,&? I love to bits, even though I I had to take the great out in Photoshop. I also use one of Pams'-Exoticas eyetrans maps, instead of hers. Wonderfull work on these and Asia, which is a beauty. I never bought that first one. Nola? So I really don't think I would like this new one. Anyway I think Daz'z hi,maps are wonderful. I have only one bitch. I wish someone would make me some nice think long lash tras-maps.

I put great out- I meant GREEN out in photoshop. On both of my monitors and 2 differant computers she looked green.

I love her textures, but hesitate to buy Morgana because in closeups the skin on her cheeks looks patchy on my monitor and I'd have to do postwork that's a little beyond my ability at this point. On the other hand, I've wanted her Leo for a long time, and now he's on sale! Next paycheck......! :)
