Subject: how to fill selection with tiled textures?

Dear friends, how to fill selection with tiled textures i have (need while working on my webpage). Since the tiles are tine it's tiresome to manually paste and nudge... Thank You very much for advice in advance, digitally Yours, -Anthony.

You mean: Edit > Paste Into ???

i'd say edit > define pattern then just use the fill tool set to the pattern

Sorry, I haven't got. I have an empty layer 800 x 600 and a small gif (20 x 30). I want this gif to be tiled all over the area. Edit > Past into makes only one copy of the gif and I need 800:20x600:30=800 gifs tiled. Edit > define pattern - ? I can feel with a color, not recangular image... -Anthony.

ok, select the pattern and go to edit > define pattern name it now go to the other image and click on the fill tool. at the top where it sez "fill: ' move it down to pattern, then just to the right of it clik on the downward arrow. ur tiled pattern should be there, so clik in the selected area.
