Did my annual "charity" work; collected food donations at work for the Animal Shelter. The little buggers made out like bandits. So, loaded up my truck, and went off to the shelter with my little friend Sargum (and her daddy). Everyone had a good time. Animals are always appreciative. If anyone would like a cat to photograph...

Awwww....... Poor babies!! I'm quite astounded at this shelter...they have the cats all in one big room? Wow... PS I love the image middle right side.

When they are first brought in, they are quaranteed until they have their shots, (and surgery). Then one big happy room. Screened in porch in the summer. There is a kitten room, but I've never had enough courage to go in there. As it was, I almost took the B&W guy with me, and his gray friend, and maybe his other gray friend...

Get the "CATS", go on get the "CATS" :o) My mental dog, I got her from a Animal Shelter (she was mistreated, took a lot of love and time for her to get back to normal)

She's very pretty Azy.....what kind of dog is she? And Misha....I sometimes like to go to the shelter just to torture myself in the cat rooms....I know how hard it is to leave without a little bundle in my arms. :~(

I think if I took any of those cuties home they would want to go back! Look at all the friends they have to play with! And the cat furniture, sheesh! Ours have one cylinder with only 2 levels. Then again 2 of ours are anti social when it comes to strangers. The image above is my oldest buddy. He is 12. See the kind of toys he gets!? i was thinking the same thing...cats all in one room in a shelter? I'm impressed! i'd like to just spend a few minutes in that room, looks like a fun place! & that lovely guy is a pitbull dog- he's a cutie! i miss the ones we use to have

I've never really been one for cats until we had one about 2 year ago. While we went on holiday we had a neighbour looking after him, and on the last day he went walkabouts and didn't come home. Still miss the little bugger. (Still look at our other neighbour suspiciously....). If any of you guys have seen Felix cat food, he was the spitting double to the cat on that - sorta very much like Misha's B&W cat up there, but the ultimate in cuteness. (",)
