As my old gran used to say 'you can never have enough light sabres'..mind you she used to also say that the devil lived in mirrors and would get you if you looked too long. The ring cries out to be Green Lanterned...it's a word...in my world it is :)

nu-be: yup, I'll have to update it, but not right now. Xurge: I got it out of a cracker-jack box. B^) mon1alpha: I think I'd like your gran. Though I don't know if Lone Starr's ring could be Green Lanterned -- it's got a yellow blade/beam. Doesn't the Green Lantern Ring not work on Yellow? Or was it wood? Or yellow wood? Or everwood? Or morningwood?

Earth I GL's achilles heel was yellow, Earth II's was wood, IIRC.

The original Green Lantern (Alan Scott)'s ring didn't work on wood. The rings used by the Green Lantern Corps (including Hal Jordan) didn't work on Yellow. Kyle Rayner's ring has been cured of that design flaw, i think...

Yeah, now the only design flaw of the ring is the guy wielding it. ^_^
