Subject: My 'underwater'--"Not In Our BackYard"

Just thought I'd post my underwater with boat for Maga. This has been posted before. I never did get around to adding the caustic gel, but adding the 'haze' to the water made it much more realistic, I think. Maybe one of these days, I'll try the caustic gel also. When you were asking about the plants going to the horizon, I remembered this--I think you might need to move your plants back keeping them the same size so that they give a feeling of being in the distance. Maybe move some to the foreground also. Diane B

Yes ,I Remember this too Diane, I like this one without the caustic gel. It adds to the mood and message of this image by making it look like a gloomy day, this is a Great Image, Hawkfyr

Maga, the boat is a model from 3Dcafe I believe. I added material separately to various sections-I just checked--the .dxf model has 2 sections--the boat body and the seats/cross planks plus around the top. Depending upon how you are looking at it, you can map it with wood planks as you look at the inside (the bottom boat) and solid color fo the seats/boat edges or map the bottom that you see from below the way you want it to be seen.
