Hey, I need to know how to add bones to an imported model. Like, lets say I import a .3DS model, how do I add bones in Poser4? Is it possible? Do I need another program to do it? Please explain for as many kinds of imports as you know how...if you know OBJ and 3DS ... tell me both, if they are different. Also, if you do reply, please send it through email also to: awsales@accu-tek.com My time on the internet is like 1 hr. a day, so I must constantly be brief. Thanks a lot!! Andrew

if you want to add bones in poser4, you'll need the pro pack expansion.

You can use just Poser 4 to make an imported model posable, but it's gonna be a real chore. There's tutorials on how to do it, somwhere. Maybe somone else has links? Or you could do a search for them.

The Poser 4 manual has a text based method of figure creation in it. You have to rewrite the object's text file in a text editor. It's an involved process. Pro Pack and Poser 5 both have set-up rooms that make the process easier. Good luck!
