This strange piece is the Talisman from the Album 'MAGNIFICATION' by the band YES. The original was created by Bob Cesca in Electric Image Universe, texture mapped in Vue d'esprit 4.0 and featured many tiny mechanical parts on the ring that immediately surrounds the triangle. These parts however, were not distinct enough on the CD inlay to enable accurate recreation, so with much regret I had to omit them from this version. Despite this, I still think this is a very intriguing work and I would like to thank Bob for his kind permission and encouragement in my attempt. Scene created and rendered entirely in Bryce 5. It's a mystical wonder, really looks great Chris, a job well done. When I was in my teens I adored Yes, (showing my age now), and it was the art of Roger Dean that got me interested in art as a serious occupation. For those who don't know, Roger Dean created many of the cover images for Yes albums and some stage sets too. Catlin

Airflames: I don't think Roger Dean used anything but paint and paper when he was creating the original YES album covers. (or maybe you knew that...) Thanks for the nice comments, People! The Bryster
