I finally got around to installing Valentin's wonderful characters, Valerie, Ludevine and Looma. All the files show up in the Poser thumbs, except for Looma's face files. Instead of the thumbs, I get a blank with a darker brown oval shape on it. Any thoughts on the subject?

Does the fc2 work? Does it apply to the the character? If so you can save this face to the folder. If not, you may have gotten a corrupted download. Emily

If you are using P5 or ProPack then the problem is that the supplied .png files do not have any transparency set. Just delete the .png files from face/looma and P5/PPP will recreate them from the .rsr files the next time you open the library in Poser. I've found this happens quite often, if no .rsr is supplied with a package (Looma included both), then you can use PhotoShop or similar paint program to convert the non-transparent .png to a transparent one. -- Mark

Or you can open these PNGs in Photoshop and go to Layer - Layer from background and resave them, that does the trick. And I think the new version of P3DO Explorer as the option not only to convert RSR to PNG but to fix blank PNGs as well.

Thanks for the tip. Deleting the .png files worked. I'll remember this next time something like that happens.
