I was just thinking about the same thing :) So far, what I've done is click on the FILE|Run Python Script menu item.... then double click the script you want to run...it does its thing.... It would be nice, hoewever, to be able to just click it from the library...a pyton script library section... can that be done???

You can put them anywhere in the Python folder, then in Poser open the Python Window (from the Windows Menu) and click on an empty buttom and navigate to the script. Once it's loaded just click the button to get it to do this thing. At least this is the way it works in Poser PP Mac.

Actually you can put the scripts anywhere you want. Keeping all of your regulars in one folder makes it easier, though. File: Run Python is the simplest way to run one script, but if you're going to use several for various utility purposes, it's easier to fill in the MainButtons.py script, which is found in Runtime:Python:PoserScripts. Save the original MainButtons file under some other name to serve as a template, then take out some of the samples and fill in your own choices, following the same pattern. (The folders and files are written in Mac style.) The MainButtons palette holds only 10, but that's more than enough even for a Python addict like me! After you fill in the MainButtons, just hit Window:Python (alt-W-P) to bring up the palette. (There are also some tricks for making sub-palettes, which are shown in the sample scripts provided by CL.)
