Lamberto Tedaldi (Officine Pixel) with a little aid by Andrea Mazzone (Andygraph) has begun the development of "VisualFace", a software for the expressions recording from audio/video sequences. It is designed to speed up the animation process. You may import video footage as reference source, then you can change expressions over time by moving morph targets sliders while the video source is running, "VisualFace" record cursors movements. The result is saved in pz2 file format. note: It's not possible for this version make mocap face in automatic mode but only in manual mode.
