It's my new favorite toy. :) I had no idea that beefy ol' Mike could look this good.

You needed something else? Time for me to take my rest. Love this guy, so different from our regular ole Mike. Just a quickie, er....render that is! lol Marque

Great render Marque, who is that, is he from Mike? Sharen

Marque posted Tue, 28 January 2003 at 7:55 AM

He's a character from Daz for Mike. You have to work with his clothes because his arms and legs are longer, that's what gives him that lean hungry look. But his face is the best. Marque

I am very interested in this product. I am curious, how difficult is he to clothe? Can you easily get clothes to fit him with Tailor? Thanks! Jay

pdxjims posted Tue, 28 January 2003 at 10:21 AM

The faces are great. I loaded them as morph targets and combine them to get even more looks. The problem with the clothing is the fact that the body morphs for him use the Stretch option on his arms and legs. You can get around this by checking out the readme and using the hints/instructions there for modifying the clothing once fitted. Of course, with a body like that, cloths become VERY optional. I looked at a quick render I did of him and started going to the gym again.

LOL pdx he does look fine doesn't he?? I stretched the clothes to fit and for the most part they work, only problem is shoes or boots but I think if you just move them down fit them and then parent them they will be fine. Marque

bloodsong posted Tue, 28 January 2003 at 4:51 PM

heyas; since the stretch arms/legs dials use scaling instead of morphs, it should be theoretically possible to create a conformer base from m2 that leaves those controls in. then you could read the long arms/legs from your figure, conform the clothes, apply the long arms/legs matching setting, memorize the clothes, and badda-boom badda bing... have it work. i think. :)

jaybutton posted Tue, 28 January 2003 at 6:29 PM

Hi Bloodsong! Thanks for the help. I don't know what you mean by "create a conformer base," though. Could you let us know. Thanks! Jay

heyas; for the amazingly amazing secretive secret of the conformer base.... ::looks around for spies:: check out the "painlessly easy conforming clothing" tutorial at my site! by the way, if you put a bishonen face morph on steph and make her into a 'good looking young woman,' what's that called?
