Ok, I've had Poser 5 since November and I simply don't have the time nor the will to learn this program! So, I would like to sell it. Since I am still a student, I got the educational version (which is the same as the regular version except the box has a little sticker that says "educational version") at a huge discount, so I would like to sell it for $200 (Paypal only please.) If you are interested please IM me and we can work out the details. Thanks! -Jenna ps- sorry if this is in the wrong forum I didn't know where to post it :)

Hmm.. I didn't purchase it directly through Curious Labs so I don't know.

Last I knew Curious Labs has a no refund policy, that`s what the web site said when I pre-ordered mine.

I may be wrong but you can only sell educational software to someone that qualifyes for it like a teacher, prof, or other student. you might want to check with CL about this, I know that EBay requires purchasers to prove they qualify to the seller. I already have poser 5, I'm still trying to hunt down a cheap version of Poser4.

Not only that, but almost all "educational merchants" have a strict policy against reselling to others (who are almost certainly non-students) since you have to prove your own student status to buy through them. Just look at Creation Engine for a typical example of what you have to go through to buy a discounted student version. Egads! Get a student ID? Send in a scan of it with your order? However, they sell a minty-fresh version of Poser 5 with unique serial number for $199 to anyone who can prove their student status. I wouldn't touch this transaction, but your mileage may vary. I hadn't realized that there were such restrictions on selling educational software, I will definitely look into this, thanks for mentioning it MachineClaw. :)

not a problem. Also check with CL about a transfer of Licence so that the new purchaser if they are a student, and you do get through all the hoops, then they can reg it legal and call for support. resellin educational software is a pain, it is possible, but CL will have the answers that you need, just check with them so your in compliance. good luck.
