I've got some items modeled and keep trying to export the obj files, but I can't seem to get it to work. Can somebody PLEASE help me? I can't render demon horned characters with no horns. =(

Do people even read the forums before asking? Considering that this was just asked a few posts down. Again for the umptenth time you can't export and bryce created objects unless it it a terrain, rock, lattice or a previously imported mesh (.obj, .3ds, etc.) If it's a poser demon why don't you import it into Bryce then render it? I don't mean to sound harsh above but do a search on the forum and you will see this comes up 2-3 times a week almost. Maybe we need big flashing letters at the top of the forum "Bryce doesn't export except..." :)

Sorry, oh great guru ... If all I did was do Renderings all day, perhaps I would have been able to read all the postings, but I have an incredibly busy life and by the time I get a chance to do my renderings, my eyes are blurry with sleep. I'll try to keep that in mind, ok?

Alright now, let's calm down before somebody loses an eye. :^) Seriously, Akia, if you don't come here a lot, it wouldn't hurt to browse the first page or try a search (i.e. keyword "export"). It can get a little irritating if you spend some time in this Forum every day (like I do) and see the same FAQ's every day (like this one). The members here are very open and helpful (Aldaron is one of the best), we just would like newbies (no relation to nu-be :^) ) to meet us halfway and see if their question might have already been answered. Read a few of the threads in here and you'll see what I mean. Members provide mini-tutorials and answer dozens of questions every day, giving much of their free time (for free) just to be helpful. This Forum is a very good one in that respect. Welcome. Tjohn

Hey sorry, didn't mean to be disrespectful or sound high and mighty. It just gets very frustrating typing out the same answer time and time again when the search function only takes a minute to use and works fairly well. Just as you value your time so do we. If after searching all your resources and still can't figure something out this community is more than willing to help out, someone somewhere will more than likely have an answer for you. Don't let my post put you off to this community, it's a great place and very friendly. BTW sometimes I post while I'm supposed to be working so sometimes my answer are a bit abrupt. :)

BTW tjohn thanks for the kind words. I think you are right up there too along with several others (too many to mention) :)

"I just saw an elephant fly past my window" Really, how did you set up the camera tracking? :)

Thank goodness. I thought I was the only one seeing the flying elephants. :^)

Okay. Apology accepted and offered. =) I didn't look for other posts, and I admit that, but I sometimes get a one track mind and I'm thinking "WHY THE HELL WON'T THIS @*&#; DAMN THING WORK!?' so, no harm done. I am new, and I'm still trying to learn lots, so forgive me for stumbling. I'm sorry. Thanks for the reply though. =) ~Kia, the cat named after a car ... or is it the other way around?

It's nobody's fault, except Corel's. Bryce is one of the only programs in the industry that doesn't export it's objects. With Bryce 3(D), the biggest deal was animation, adn Metacreations had no problem putting that on the package. Bryce 3D! It moves! But at this stage, Corel should have taken Meta's lead and just called it "Bryce 5 : It doesn't Export!" Honestly, the math behind exporting booleans is ridiculously simple, and the only reason that Bryce doesn't let you do this is because it's creators wanted to keep you IN Bryce. It's political. And it's deplorable.
