I've written a couple of tutorials that may help. They come with the example clothing as a free download.

I'm just wondering is it only for animation or what?

The cloth room is one feature that actually works, If you can familiarize yourself with it, you'll be surprised at what you can do with it. PhilC's tutorials are the best way to start!

Yes and no. You have to set up a small animation going from your character's Zero pose to the final pose. Typically this can be done in about 10 frames. Once the cloth room has done its "magic" render your final frame and there you go. Here's an example...

That's Hmann's Dynamic Clothing Pack. It's an awesome pack. I'm looking at getting the new one too;) It works well on V3 with a little tweaking (her hips are a little wider).
