Then I'd like bring it into the Cloth Room. My goal there is to get a perfect/skin tight fit to the Loin. I have my manual right here, but would prefer to learn more quickly through an online Tut. or two. Any links on what to expect from the Room will be appreciated!
Then it's over to the Materials Room, has anyone seen any white and gold MATs for this?

Where did you get the wings? Dave

The loin cloth is divided into a number of body parts. The two side pieces are Sinistro and Desrto. Just turn the visibility on those two parts off. As for fit, it's designed for a female shape. The only way you'll get a tight fit is to add a couple of custom morphs on the belt. This isn't too hard at all, really. Steve Shanks has a great tutorial on using Anim8or to make custom morphs. The principle would apply to Carrara too. His tuorial is at: http://interneteye3d.com/Tutorials/2000/sept/posermorph/default.asp There's some good P5 materials (free) at rDNA. Check them out. By looking at them, you should be able to get a pretty good metalic texture for it. Traveler may even have one included (I don't remember). Hope this helps.

Dave, The wings look like the Angelyna wings by Sharkey available in the MP here. They're great.
cainbrogan posted Thu, 30 January 2003 at 12:20 AM
Yes those are Sharkey's Wings! There not to shabby, huh? It's divided into at least 6-8 parts and bends around very nicely. If you get it have a look at M2 and V2 "Heaven Sent" Pose colllection, also avbailable in the Marketplace. There are also a few free texs., trans, and pose sets in the Free Stuff here and at 3DCommune!
pdxjims - Yes that helped alot thanks! The visibility will come in handy. I was thinking if the whole belt were considered a cloth, then gravity would make it fall and rest on his hips. As for the custom morphs, well, I'm a Super Newbie when it comes to modelers...I'm going to go have a look right now!

Actually, you got me to look at it and I think I'll try morphing it to fit Mike. It's actually pretty close now. I may even try to make it into a conforming figure for Mike. It's an excellent piece, like all Awful's work. Wish Awful would do stuff for Mike (hint hint).

Hey that would be super pdxjims, thanks a million! Any idea of what kind of time frame we are working with here? I've a couple weeks to get this ready for before Febuary's Challenge deadline. I wish Awful Soul Would do some stuff for M2 also. His mgVest is my favorite top(nudge nudge)!

You know I doubt spiritiual beings have genitals to cover, Because they have no need to make corporial offspring.... But he looks fantastic in the loin cloth:)

Hey Cainbrogan, Here's a link to PhilC's site, he has a tutorial on making P4 clothing work in the cloth room. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I think it should help you with the loin cloth. Hey, and thanks for your suggestion on the tutorial a couple of threads down. It would be cool to have some samples of what you can do in the cloth room;) ~ amon_g ~pdxjims posted Thu, 30 January 2003 at 10:51 AM

The all white is okay, but I think I like the gold better. Gold and white seem to tie the sky into it (clouds and the sun). That's what I see when I see an angel. This is looking damn good! ~ brent ~

I've been looking all around for an intricate set of sandals! These are from Daz3D's M2 Clothing Pak. Daz3D also has a full calf sandal, included in thier Millenium Olympians Clothing, I'll probably use on another angel. There is also a full calf sandle, that I remember having in a past library if mine, on an HD that crashed, but I ca'nt remember it's name. It was with a Barbarian or Warrior type figure, and had very thick straps, but I also think it have several morphs for at least height. Hopefully I can find it or something like it with thin straps!

Hey nice image! I think those are them. What was the name of you product? Do the sandles have morphs? = )
cainbrogan posted Sat, 01 February 2003 at 2:07 PM
I must ahve HAD a copy of them, because I can find my template pak , but not the sandals themselves! = )
cainbrogan posted Sat, 01 February 2003 at 8:10 PM
Anyhows, I have a couple technical questions! How are prop objects parented, the same way as a figure? I still need to parent his halo. And how do I change the name of a figure? His sandals are named Figure 2 and Figure 3, but this could get really confusing soon!
