I've seen a few challenges now and there's always one thing I miss: I would like to see the rules of that particular challenge to be posted above the thumbs (also of old challenges). I often see a very nice picture and then have something like: "Well, yes it looks great alright... but is this truly a good interpretation of the challenge? And ehm... what challenge was it in the first place?". I know I can look for this particular month's challenge somewhere else of course... but why not post it above the thumbnails (or at least a link above them)?

Perhaps I'm missing something here or I just don't understand the question...but the monthly challenge is posted at the top of every page under the Bryce forum logo above, together with the rules where it says "Here". Forgive me if I'm misunderstanding your post.

I wonder if this is a dig at those who interpret the challenge subject too loosely? I often think that some artists take liberties with the subject (no names - no packdrill) which leaves us with....'Great pic, but what's it got to do with the challenge?' The Bryster

Nope.. none of the above (even though I do agree with you on that last part too Bryster). And... I can find it for THIS month.. but not for past months I've been here in these forums off and on for maybe a few months now and wanted to look at some older challenges. What I mean is: go to the "Monthly Challenge Archives" here on top of this page and then browse the old archives. I can see a lot of great pictures there.. but I have NO idea what the challenge was for them and therefore I can't really tell if a picture was good for that particular challenge or not. Would be easier if the challenge description and restrictions would be added on top of each thumbnail page. Mainly for history purposes.

Ohhhhh but of course! I see your point now and agree. it would be nice to see what the rules were and what the challenge was at the time of posting to better understand the image entries. Surely!

I think someone already brought this up with AgentSmith and I think he is on top of it. Read it in the forum someplace. It's a great idea 'cos how can you tell if an image is really good for that challenge if you don't know what the challenge was. Catlin

It's on my checklist of things to update in the backroom. I understand perfectly what you mean and it make perfect sense. There are other things I have to do also, but I'll make sure the Challenge description is in there somewhere. Thanks!! AgentSmith

You know? I really think Agent S has his head screwed on properly. It takes a wise man to listen to the rabble and move to calm the waters of dissent...Well done Agent Smith!
