ok... no-one liked my last question :( can i try again and make it sound much more fun and exciting... and understandable??? :) if i'm using RGB on screen and want to a. print out a passable proof on epson640inkjet and then b. hand to an offset/litho printer for outputting, do i have to assign profiles etc or is converting to CMYK enough? at the moment the IJ image is washed out and light effects/bevels etc hardly register. i've trawled posts in the archive and someone said they do that - working in RGB but keeping the CMYK preview open... how d'ya do that? and before anyone says it, yes i do have a manual, but am really having trouble identifying and isolating the specific info i really need to learn and use, out of the masses of technical stuff anddon't want to foul up an image by doing stuff i don't (yet!) understand. big thanks, soozie
