I'm having a hard time keeping track of things. But for the triangle of Doom to be complete, someone must challenge Mav, and for that to happen, I must challenge...Dreamspinner, I guess. If you've got the juice: The Essence of Man. Using any software whatsoever, with one requirement: The final product must be black and white. No color, no grayscale. Black, white. And then you get to challenge Mav, and I hope you make it hard, cuz he's making me use Carrara :-P Accept? -max

Dear, all I have is Bryce4 and Correll5, (darn I didn't spell that right, I know). I just inherited Liz's Toshiba and don't have any of my files loaded back into it. ( Looks like a long scary job to me. )What exactly is the challenge, other than black and white? ( NotLOL ) Verdie : 0

The challenge is simply to express manliness in two colors. I'm curious to see how your style would deal with those constraints. I'm not sure I understand the problem. Is your lack of software a temporary matter due to switching computers? Cuz I don't think there's a deadline here...
Dreamspinner posted Fri, 05 May 2000 at 10:30 PM
Then why did you say it had to be black and white, only. Wow sounds hard because I'm a lady. Mmmmmm...... sounds interesting though. Has anyone posted a pic on this one yet? Well, I'm considering it. Don't know if I'm good enough for this. Where is the original challenge located? Verdie : { (perplexed)
antonmax posted Fri, 05 May 2000 at 10:37 PM
I think the challenge was obscured by all the other words I used. Sorry. Anyway, I have faith in you. Original challenge is...um...http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12372&Form.ShowMessage=107714 -max

I can possibly do this. I don't have and probably never will have Carrara. So you are challenging me to do a two color pic or black and white only? I kind of am getting an idea for a pic about this subject. Hey, bare with me I'm boing through a ditzy spell right now, okay? Just tell me 2 colors or black and white only. LOL Verdie : )
antonmax posted Fri, 05 May 2000 at 11:05 PM
Two colors, but those two have to be black and white :) Black and white only. You may use black, you may yuse white. Thou shalt not use blue, neither shalt thou use green or red, or orange, or grey. Black and white shall be the colors of thy use, and those colors you use shall be black and white. :)

Dreamspinner posted Sat, 06 May 2000 at 12:33 AM
Do you remember the movie, My Fair Lady the movie, with Audry Hepburn and Rex Harrison, stared in this musical, masterpeice. Damn, how young are you Mav? If you haven't seen this Classic movie I would highly recomend it, for you to rent! (hint, hint) LOL You guys are really cool! Verdie : )

actually.... I'm a huge Audrey fan.... yeah, I've seen it. Its been a while though. Name wasn't catching for me. I'm young enough to get in trouble and old enough to know better. :-) I'm 25
Dreamspinner posted Sat, 06 May 2000 at 12:54 AM
I have children older than you are, dear. My youngest son is 28. Think I almost just gave away my age...ah well. LOL I don't mind being me, wish I had a better body to inhabit but shit happens to the best and worst of us. Yes, Audry was a VERY special lady and I really hated it when she died. So much talent lost to us forever and so much kindness lost as well. Say, don't I have some kind of pic I'm supposed to be doing. LOL Verdie : )

well... if it makes you feel any better I have an arthritic knee thus making me old before my time. :-) as for your pic... well, I don't even have a formal challenge from you yet. :-) actually I am working on the open challege for the pod racer, but I like having a few things cooking in my head at once.
Dreamspinner posted Sat, 06 May 2000 at 1:05 AM
Actually, I do have a question about my upcoming challenge to you. First do I wait until my pic is finished and posted to send the challenge your way? Seconde, does the Theme have to remain the same, when I send my challenge your way? Well, I did say this IS my ditzy night. LOL Verdie : )
mav posted Sat, 06 May 2000 at 1:09 AM
I don't think you have to wait. I don't think the rules are defined there one way or the other. In fact, I think its probably better to not wait, that way there's lots of things coming in at once which is cool. The theme definately doens't have to stay the same. In fact, the challenge Max gave you changed from the one I gave him. So I guess its whatever you come up with. I'm dying of anticipation... :-)
Dreamspinner posted Sat, 06 May 2000 at 1:48 AM
You are a lady, yes? Was just looking at some of your work and really like it, but got private messaged and had to leave for a few moments. Verdie : )
mav posted Sat, 06 May 2000 at 2:03 AM
Nope.... I'm a guy. What made you think otherwise?
Dreamspinner posted Sat, 06 May 2000 at 2:12 AM
Some of your pics show a really good insight to a woman's point of veiw and that's very good; shows you have empathy for others. Don't take it as a put down, okay? (smile) Verdie : )

I don't... more as a compliment.... the ones you commented on are from a story I wrote about a girl named Alyssa.... I try to get as far into the heads of every character I create... be it with words or pictures.... anyway.... yes, I do take it as a compliment... thankyou.
