Hey, can somebody help me? I am trying to figure out what happened to HappyWorldLand. I can find the Textures-Uncut version, but I'd like to see their regular site. Also, there was this great German site by a guy named Mitch. Anybody know what I'm talking about? He had a great deal of aquatic/marine life animals, including an awesome humpbacked whale.

I have an educated guess. So many fine Poser sites have fallen victim to the costs of the Internet. The sad fact is that many people can't afford to pay the hosting costs involved in a web site that gives stuff away. That includes tutorials and freebies. If a site is really popular, bandwidth and hosting costs increase, and you lose another fine site.

Just as long as everybody is aware that this person Tim Laubach hasn't made all those textures. There are creator notes on several of them (for instance 11b which states "Texture by Mobius and Legume" He might have used the original texture as a base though. I don't know. Hey and I'm not saying he DIDN'T get permission to post them.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

http://www.mitch3dseite.de/ This was Michael "Mitch" Janssen's site, but it appears not to exist anymore.

Mitch's stuff was superb, but from what I have read here in other posts he got tired of losers and fools redistributing it and whatnot. A sad loss, IMHO :-(
