OK, I bought Environment Creator II for Poser 5 and am looking for suggestions/tutorials. It looks great, but right now I am kind of lost. I'll keep playing around with it, and I'm sure I'll learn how to use it eventually. I was just hoping that it had come with a .pdf file showing how it could be used. I know there are help files throughout, but they never seem to replace documentation for me.

There's a tutorial coming out sometime this week on the creator's website. I haven't used the program (but I'm glad to hear the Poser 5 version is out) so I can't be any help at all, but I think we'll see something soon on how to use it.

That's good to know. I'll keep an eye out. Hopefully, I'll figure out how to enter his website, other than his main page.

Well, anyway I figured out to enter his site. Now just waiting! (and learning).

I can now get in. I forgot that I had a pop-up blocker running. All I have to remember is to hold down the CTRL key when clicking, and all is well. Thanks for the help.

I'm going to delete my back door link now. I know sometimes it is important for a person to have people come through the opening pages for various reasons. Glad you were able to find your way in. I'm looking forward to the tutorial too.

Hello everybody

But you HAVE help all the time :-)- go to the Red Question Sign, you find it nearly every module on the right hand side of the topmenu- click on it, and a menu will open where you'll find different subjects listed-

-to give you an idea-

like "PhotoReader in 3 easy steps", for instance.. You can put that Helpwindow next to the module, and just do the steps as they're written out, that should help you to get to know your way around quick.
And there's lots more.

Please start by reading the "basics", or just click on Function key F1. Then go to the CREATOR! to begin with, and open the .. in 4 easy steps" thing, I forget the exact number, but it isn't very high :-)

I did this because I thought people might appreciate having help where they can best use it- in Poser. It is, in fact, more extensive than a manual could have been.

And, also all the time, text appears when you go over buttoins and things, telling you what they're for.

Well, hope this helps.

If any problem: mail me at
tech@pcbos.nl
and you get an answer back as quick as I can- and that's a promise

Cheers, Paul Christiaan

And please remember I LIKE helping people out- I learn from you, you know! So mail me any time if you need help.

Oops, I forgot-

as promised: the images are here, plus a short intro- not quite a tutorial, just to show you how it renders, and what the main functions are.

Let me know if you miss something!

Cheers,

Paul Christiaan

Reason for this darn way round is that large monitors, or monitors with large gamuts, get different pages at my site.
That way, even people with cheap or small monitors get a good view, since they view a different site.
I'm sorry if this makes for difficulties with some of you, but it's important to me to give everybody the best his / her machine can handle.

If you're really worried, OK:
