I would like to place a challenge before you ! I would like either a morph created for DON or Michael, or a completely new Poser model created. It's just something that I'd like to see done. I have 3 images that I have gotten permission to use from the Artist, and gotten permission to create a model with them, free of use.
IN other words, I can do anything I want :)
So, I was hoping maybe some people out here would be up to a challenge ! I do not unfortunately know how to model yet, nor do I have any modeling programs, ( I'd kill for one ! )
Here is a link that shows the 3 images and tells the parts of each one that should be used for a 3d model.
AnthroMorph Bear
Please let me know if anyone is up to the challenge currently. Beware... cartoon animal nudeness on the images may not be to everyone's taste.
Please let me know if anyone is up to it !
Thanks!

Cool :) Tell Chris I said "hi!" (I have 3 of his pieces smirk) I'd say the person to ask would be Lemurtek ... but I think he's done with anthros for the moment Lyrra

"nor do I have any modeling programs, ( I'd kill for one ! )" Homicide is not required! Go get a free modeler. I'd suggest Wings3D. jon

Thing is I would like a werebear type thing but not in the fuzzy vein.

This is a job for n0sf4ra2! He's done a great pig morph, a wolf morph for sale with great texture set by Rawnrr, and a new orc morph. All of them for Mike. The body wouldn't be too much of a problem, it can be done with standard Mike 2 morphs, the head will be a real morph project. Maybe the wolf can be modified to fit. I'd send him an email and ask him. There's enough free tails out there that you can choose a close one.

Foreskin morphs for Michael and Don already exist.
I'm hoping that Michael 3 will have more animal-face morphs.

The biggest problem is the whole fur thing. Fur is next to impossable to make look realistic, even toon fur is tough. I have a Doderman, and a feline anthro that are all modeled, but not finished because I can't get the textures right.

"The biggest problem is the whole fur thing" Actually with Poser 5 I have grown entire sets of fur. I have rendered the Daz polar bear cubs with realistic fur, I just never uploaded them. It's hard to get right, but it looks great ! Instead of a body texture, I'll grow the real fur :) Will look better that way anyhow ;)

Little Dragon, Thats VERY cool! I see he has fur almost every where. Does this slow your system down? I haven't messed with it much, but would like to know more about makeing character look furry like that.
Mtncub posted Wed, 05 February 2003 at 1:46 PM
LITTLE DRAGON ! You so rock ! ;) That's the kind of work I'm looking for ! I know on my computer, fur doesn't slow it down much. I have a hand built Athlon AMD XP1800+ (1.53 gig), with 1.3 gigs of ram, and an ATI Radeon 9000 128meg video card. Things hummm right along : )
Little_Dragon posted Wed, 05 February 2003 at 5:58 PM
The fur is mostly postwork, lynnJonathan. My experiments with dynamic hair have resulted in some very slow renders on my system (Athlon XP 2000+, 512MB RAM, GeForce 2 GTS 32MB). Mtncub, I'd like to learn how to speed up the process. How many strands do your furry characters have? And would you consider posting some of the files, so I could see whether the problem is my technique or my system? Even with dynamic fur, a good body texture is still necessary for the undercoat. The same texture can also be applied to the fur itself, if you want a patterned coat.

Little_Dragon, I'll try and dig up my Satyr tonight. I had a 40 gig drive blow out on my bout a month ago, along with my dvd and cdrw .... cause of a bad power supply :P I dont believe I uploaded the file but I will try and find it and link it. I have the regular Satyr available on my artist page... ![viewed.ez?galleryid=245808](http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=245808) There is the Satyr BEFORE I took it and rendered fur on the legs. That fur as seen is all hand done. *oy* Sore hands I tell you. But I have one at home somewhere *I hope* with the rendered fur on top of that. Looked much nicer ! Like real hair.Lemurtek posted Thu, 06 February 2003 at 2:16 AM
...have been somewhat exaggerated! :) Lyrra scribed: "I'd say the person to ask would be Lemurtek ... but I think he's done with anthros for the moment" But are the Anthros done with me? :) I haven't had too much spare time, but I haven't abandoned the Second Nature crew. I don't have anything showable yet, but I am working on the next gen (based on Vic3 and Mike, and yes, a bear is on the list, as well as some 'taurs) as well. Sorry to be so slow, but hopefully things will pick up. BTW, Nice work, LD and Mtncub! Regards-
