What's he looking at? Boat on the water? Troop movement? Town he's head for? Dragon's cave? Long road to somewhere? Your scenery is very attractive, but I would like some clue as to what caused him to stop and look. Lin

It would be cool if there was somebody encamped on one of the mountains with smoke rising up. Then he'd be looking at something other than just the scenery. It's not bad as it is, but could use more drama.

How about a flash of light from the hill? It looks very much like he's looking at something there.

Mey M - what a really Great landscape the looking dude seems a tad big for the picture - I agree with electroglyph maybe a really interesting flash or some kind or light effect. Your right on with the low fog Idea I think it will give th e render a sence of height and distance. great work roch222

That landscape rocks! (no pun intended) I think you are correct in going with something like grass. The figure and the landscape look just a little too disconected, perhaps you need something to bring him "into" the scene a little more. Although I do like the seperation, reminescent of a movie pov. Yet, another reason he could look a little diconected, is the landscape looks very real and detailed, and the clothes your figure is wearing is more simple in its texture/detail. Maybe something as simple as using a fabric bump on the red parts of his clothes? Just suggestions. I like this pic! AS

I agree with everything mentioned above!! Also, the guy seems to block too much of the landscape. Just a suggestion, but maybe a panoramic view would help to show more of the kick-ass landscape you created!!!!

yep... I'd have to agree with everyone else on this one... very nice landscape/texture... First thing that popped into my head, other than 'what is he looking at', was that you might try smoothing the guy a little more to make him look a little less faceted... that may be the look you're going for... but right now it's a bit much IMHO. very nice image, so far... keep it up!

My thought . . . . . some sort of flying creature approaching in the distance . . . . between the distant and foreground peaks.
