ilona, if you find some, could you please let us know? I've looked for months and don't remember ever seeing any that looked good in Poser. I think there are a few simple .obj cacti out there, sorry, don't remember where, but as I recall they're not textured or detailed. Any of my fellow cactus enthusiasts here know what a "xoconostle" is?

hehe sorry I dont know... well. I have a cactus I git from bbay some time ago.. but its just a tall one and not that desert 3 pointed cactus you always see in pictures. There are good ones at www.3dplants.com but theyre not free...excelent ones though

Thanks for the pointer! I'll check 'em out. "xoconostle" is a Mexican word for the edible (and delicious) fruit of some members of the Opuntia or "prickly pear" cactus family.

The picture shows the cactus in a P5 version, I tried growing some hair on it L It turned out quite ok, IMHO.

Wow, ernyoka1, you never cease to amaze me. Thank you! Nice cereus. Oh, and tasquah, you're right...yum! Usually they're called "nopalitos," from "nopal," which was the Nauha (Aztec, sorta) word for edible Opuntia cacti. Very rich in vitamin C and fiber. Great on salads or in chilequiles. Hm, just made myself hungry...
