Having apparently seen one too many Lara Croft renders, I present this open challenge: Create an accurate rendition of a video game character, male or female. Only rules are: - DO NOT use a character that's already available for download (like Lara Croft, or Tygerlander's Mortal Kombat figures). - Don't use a pre-set pose. If you go to the trouble to make an all-new figure, make an all-new pose to go with it. No time limit, and you're free to use any props, programs, or post-render work you need to get the job done. If you need images or links for reference, I'll provide those too. Should this sound too easy for any of you, I'll be happy to assign a character for you to create. ;) Good luck to all who accept. a) Should we name the characters or have people guess them? b) Is drawing okay or does it have to be CG art?

a) Either way is fine with me. :) b) Sure, drawing is fine too. I'd prefer to see some sort of computer techinque applied (coloring in Photoshop, etc), but I've saved plenty of totally hand-drawn fan art too. Good luck! SnowS

When and where are the submissions due ?

You can just post them either on this forum, or in the Challenge Arena Gallery (or both, I presume). There's no time limit as stated above, just take your time and have fun! SnowS
