I've been playing around with this until i'm about sick of it, and my inclination is to just release it free "as is"; however, I'm pretty desperate for $$ these days, so I was wondering... do y'all think If I went ahead and finished this it would be worth $5 in the marketplace? It's loosely based on the Arch of Constantine, has phototextures from same.

definately $5! What makes this unique is that you've incorporated dirt, wear, and mildew (?) into it. You don't see that too often.

you might want to fix that texture seam on the columns first. but other than that it looks great

I would pay $5 Marque

$5? A lot of us will pay $5 for anything. Fix the seam and let it fly. The nice thing about selling it cheap instead of putting it in freestuff is you don't host it yourself. Even if you don't make a profit on it, you won't have to worry about bandwidth. Right? I'm working on a set of transmaps and morphs for the remapped Mike bodysuit I'm planning on releasing that way. I may make enough off of it to be able to get a couple of those items on my wish list, but even if I only sell a couple, it'll be nice to see them in the gallery.

I'd say go for it. You can always elaborate later on and come up with a whole new product.

Absolutely! With the seam fixed it would sell--at least once, I'd buy it.:)) Jims, I would love to see your textures and trans in the marketplace. If you need encouragement. And good point about the bandwidth. Emily

one teensy quibble and a suggestion right now all four columns have the same texture, so that big crack on the base becomes a repetitive element. I'd siggest fiddling around with that some. and if you remap the columns so the seam faces the wall ... even if you don't get it 100% perfect, it won't matter as much
