OK, I'm happily installing all of my robots... and hit a question. Everything, including anything from DAZ, gets extracted to its own folder. I ended up with 2 DAZ robots... both of the VISE installers say "robot"... and I'm pretty sure that they both have a d-bot.cr2 file inside. However, these are not the same robot. Either a Phyrexian Gremlin and all 88 cousins got in my computer or DAZ offered 2 separate free robots over the last couple of years. I'm not ready to put out milk to appease gremlins, so which robot is which? Can anyone put a name to these? Carolly the Confused

the silver one is D-Bot(d-bot.exe.) The other one I dont have, so no clue what its called...

They're both by DAZ. The one on the left is an older DAZ freebie (product code ps_ch025).

It's supposed to be a toy robot. After it was a freebie, it was put in the daz store for $9.95. (ps_ch025)

Ack!! There really are gremlins in there... and they are making robots faster than Ferraris on a production line. So... 4 robots from DAZ? I hope that give the internal files different names! :deep sigh: Carolly

Carolly, don't worry! LOL The 2 in your image are the DAZ toy robot on the left and the D-Bot on the right (freebie Dec'02) In dodger's image we have his own JICC3000 on the left and the DAZ (Platinum Club) Droid on the right. So - 3 robots from DAZ, of which only one is a D-Bot. Kick the gremlins out in the garden! :o)

Note also that the Droid has been updated - there's a special uppdate file for it at DAZ. :] Fish

Robots out the wazoo... Look through the various Free Stuff sites (here and elsewhere) and the bot infestation gets even worse! B^) (Sorry I don't rememeber where these all came from exactly -- I rendered the pic over a year ago)
