I am impressed with some things attributed to "Cyclorama" Checking here and at DAZ, I can't seem to find the program, only pre-made scenes. Is that the way it is sold? Or can you buy the program and create your own scenes?

It's not a program, but a model. It's a backdrop tool to use in Poser. It comes with some texture maps, which is probably what you are seeing. Laurie

If you go to Daz, click on Premier then select Scenes and you will find it on the right hand size, 8 images down, called Multiplane Cyclorama. :) Irene

the pieces are rectangular, so with a minimum of fiddling it's fairly easy to make textures for. The smaller pieces need transparancy maps for the best effect, but a competant photoshop user can make those just as easily.

OK....now my head is spining again.....but the effect of this is stunning....more realistic looking than any of my Vue 4 backgrounds. When you buy the cyclorama scenes do you get the basic mesh with it. I would really like to do my own stuff. I am not a platinum member at daz. Can't affprd the big bucks. Plus I don't use most of the stuff they have to make it worth while.

Just today---well, actually yesterday now---I DL'ed the template to see if I could make some backgrounds for myself. It'll probably be awhile before I can produce anything like Dizzie's, but they really are inspiring :)

Great work on the Backgrounds Dizzie! My toominals said to tell you that they love the pet food. Keep up the good work! Where did you get the source material for your backgrounds, is it artwork, photos or from another rendered model?
