Okay, those who've read my other threads know I'm new to Vue, so new my Vue4 bundle hasn't even arrived. (Should be on my doorstep tonight!!!) Yet I already have questions. I'm moving from Bryce 4 to Vue. Everyone tells me I'm gonna be pleased with the change. One of the first projects I need to work on is a London cityscape scene. I started the project in Bryce, but have abandoned that effort in favor of getting Vue in and starting to use it instead. Anyway, here's how I'd planed to recreate the Thames river. I've been creating some basic terrain maps in Photoshop, basically building tiles that roughly match the flow of the river. When properly tiled, the tiles create a channel for the Thames to flow through. I then planned to use a volumn of water to create the river itself. The idea being that the volumn of water would only be visible in the channel itself, and have a muddy bottom to help give a bit of realism. Two questions: Is this idea going to work in Vue? And assuming that it is, is there a better way? Am I "trying" to hard? Not hard enough? Obsessing? Okay, that's four questions. Sue me. Michael
