Concord Pathfinders -------------------

As the elite scouting unit of the Concord Military, the Pathfinders are a force unto themselves. Specializing in solo ops and small unit tactics, Pathfinders often find themselves sent to the thickest parts of the worst situations... and that's the way they like it!

The Concord series is a series of texture packages designed to outfit and populate the entire Concord Universe. These textures are designed to be applied to Victoria's Catsuit and Michael's Bodysuit, with special versions for Victoria 3 from DAZ. Pathfinders comes with 29 uniform variations for Officers and Enlisted personnel, plus 7 uniform variations for Victoria 3. The package also includes decal sheets with rank and unit insignia for every rank in the Pathfinders hierarchy, from "Private E1" to "Field Marshal".

Requires the previous purchase of Victoria's Clothing Pak 1, Michael Clothing Pak 2, Victoria 3.0 Base

Features
7 Texture Maps for Michael's Bodysuit (2000x4000)
8 Texture Maps for Victoria's Catsuit (2000x4000)
7 Texture Maps for Victoria 3 (2000x2666)
3 Transparency Maps for Victoria's Catsuit (2000x4000)

The catsuit and bodysuit textures for Mike 2 and Vicky 2 apply to remapped versions of the catsuit and bodysuit. DAZ tells me that what the installer will do is check your machine for a previous installation of the catsuit and bodysuit. When it finds those files, **the installer will automatically install additional remapped versions of those suits!** ( I thought that was pretty cool...)

These new suits use the same mapping as most of my older products (all of the re-mapped ones) so you would not need to keep both sets.

The previous pic showed the base catsuit/bodysuit maps without the decals.

Here are the tshirt variations

These are the V2 utility suits. Mike also has 2 versions.

Gorodin posted Fri, 14 February 2003 at 3:41 PM

These are V2's sweater variations. I think Mike has 2 variations.

These are the V3 uniforms: Utility, Enlisted and Officer

Gorodin posted Fri, 14 February 2003 at 3:43 PM

THese are the V3 sweaters and shirts, for officers and enlisted

Gorodin posted Fri, 14 February 2003 at 3:45 PM

Some of the pics above showed only sweaters and shirts with officers' pants. There are maps for all of those with enlisted pants as well.

Just picked this up as I was making my Platinum Club purchases for the week / DROOL! - Are there more in this series hiding about? - Gazzy!

My next project is the Concord Navy. I hope to do a set every two weeks (tho I am already behind on the Navy!) Hope you enjoy the set!

These are excellent. Who modeled the boots? They're terrific!

the3dwizard posted Fri, 14 February 2003 at 5:44 PM

Gorodin, excellent as always! Pamola, the boots are my TreadZ which you can get at DAZ

Gazukull posted Fri, 14 February 2003 at 5:51 PM

Actually I bought the bootz as well, well when they came out that is. - Gazzy!

Pamola posted Fri, 14 February 2003 at 6:41 PM

3d wizard, I don't believe I've had the pleasure. Question: Do the boots actually open up (morphs) and buckle in case you want to put them in a scene where they're more casual and their Commanding Officer isn't giving them an inspection. ;) Regardless, it's excellent work! It comes as no surprise that these are offered at DAZ. I have yet to see anything there that isn't top quality work. They are stellar Sellers, and you my friend, are an artist that warrants being in their arena! Thanks for the nice post Gorodin. Cheers! Pam Cheers! Pam

I must be drunk... I'm seeing double. LOL

I have a question about the catsuit. Does it fit V3 and use all of her morphs? Does it contain the V2 morphs? It looks fabulous.

efudd posted Sat, 15 February 2003 at 11:32 AM

Thanks for the awesome sets Gorodin I got mine last night, but I do have to say my wife is starting to dislike you, for making me spend money :-)... Now how do you use the decal sheets (and where are they) to get rank on them :-)

Gorodin posted Sat, 15 February 2003 at 11:34 AM

The v3 catsuit is actually built in to V3. So technically, the v3 textures are skin textures.

Bought it today! Great stuff! Want MoreMoreMore... ;-) Any teaser for the Concord Navy available? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaase :-)

Gorodin posted Sat, 15 February 2003 at 2:03 PM

efudd, Here is from the original readme. I don't know if this was included with the install... ********************************* 5. Using the decals ********************************* The decals with the rank insignia, Branch Insignia, belt straps and buttons for the texture packs can be found in your main poser directory in a folder called "Concord Decals" - MPathDecal.png is for the Michael uniforms - V3PathDecal.png is for the Victoria 3 uniforms - VPathDecal.png is for the Victoria uniforms You will need image editing sofware that can open .png and .jpg files in order to use the decals. It is suggested that you use software that deals with layers, such as Adobe Photoshop or Jasc Paint Shop Pro. These decal sheests are saved as .png files so that you can easily select each decal without selecting the bacground. You may find it easiest to duplicate the decal sheet as a layer on top of the texture map. That way, the important pieces like the insignia and the belt straps are already correctly placed. Then siply erase the bits you don't want, or re-arrange other bits as you see fit. Enjoy!

... Man, typos all over the place...

Pamola posted Sat, 15 February 2003 at 6:42 PM

No spellcheck for the text in these posts. I do it all the time. No worries Gorodin... I think everyone gets your meaning. I remember an old SNL skit that was a commercial for a phone message recorder product called "Erase a Blunder"! I often wish I had something similar (an edit function) to correct all of my typos on these forums. ;) Cheers! Pam

Unsolicited plug - these also look great on V3 with the male morphs turned on. The textures don't stretch out in weird ways.

Gorodin posted Sun, 16 February 2003 at 3:34 AM

Really? I haven't tried that... Cool!
