I'm looking at Vue 4 / Mover 4 as a solution for rendering animations. If you have Vue & Mover, I would appreciate it if you could answer a couple of questions.

What is the largest resolution and # of frames you have rendered in one session with Vue 4 / Mover 4?

Have you used the network rendering?

As I have only a low machine, I do small animations only. I always use the rendercow in Network render. Phoul has done until 600 wide anims and they are great. You may have a look at his site. There you also find some tutorial. Guitta [![guittalogo.GIF](http://www.guitta.net/icones/guittalogo.GIF)](http://www.guitta.net/)

I just rendered a scene with Vue 4 and Mover 4 that was 320x800 aspect ratio at 72 dpi. It was 75 seconds long at 30 fps which totaled 2,250 frames. I typically save the animation as a .TIF image sequence and then import the image sequence into quicktime pro. The final movie size was 930 MB. Network rendering is the only way to go if you have the machines. I used 12 dual 768 MHZ G4 Mac's and it took 9.5 hrs. to complete.

The scene had to be completed over a weekend so I kept the scene scematic in nature by making the building translucent and the landscape was simple. It was quite successful.
