Dunno about this one. I do like the fact that you can't see the supports on the dragon. Makes it seem like it's on its own. Woohoo...dragon on the loose! Dragon on the loose! :) -=>Donald

hi, my eye is drawn to the person in the middle then the dragon. i feel the two out of focus areas are distracting. it feels as if there's alot happenning here. there seeems to be a triangle formed between the out of focus areas and the dragon framing the people and drawing my eye towards them. hope this helps :-)

the girl's jacket, the purple/magneta one, it takes all the attention in this one. The resto f the colours are somewhat muted in comparison to the jacket, and the purple "jumps off" before the yellow does (to me at least, yellow seems to be the colder of the two, the purple being the "warmer/hotter). the dragon is hella cool, but it also supports the eye going to the purple jacket girl, it completes the frame around her pretty much. I dunno, not my cup o tea this one, but that's just me.

You don't need the semi-apologetic tone of your last sentence, oh ficticious one. :) Notice my first sentence of the original post. This was one of the only shots I could get off like this. People were so thick around the dragon (instead of backing up and making a bigger circle so everyone had a chance to see). When I shot this one, I was paying so much attention to the Dragon and timing when his head would pop up I didn't even notice the girl until I scanned it in last night. I think I like 2 things about this one. The fact you can't see the dragon's supports and the look on the kids face at the bottom. And the only reason for that is that I know just to the right (his left) is a guy in a big-a$$ lion costume. Think the boy was just a little weary of having a dancing lion that close. :) Good critiquing on this one guys...much appreciated. -=>Donald
