Alrighty, if anyone has a good model of a tank, not a tank top or a water tank but literally a tank, preferrably something world war 2'ish

Junkshop has a big variety of german, american, britisch and soviet tanks for free dowlnload, but i am not sure about the file format. http://home9.highway.ne.jp/http/junkshop/html/mmd.htm

they are lwo format. File conversion is necessary. I use 3dExplorer (old version) which sometimes doesn't do the conversion quite right for LWO. The text files are missing in these downloads.

How about an M4A3 Sherman, in Poser format? It's a collection of posable props, rather than a single posable figure, so it requires some careful handling:
