I just recieved the nifty chrome wire borders that I bought from photoshop.brushes.btinternet.co.uk. They're beautiful, but allas, I can't figure out how to turn them into borders / frames. All the tutorials I can find are for making frames from scratch using gradients and stroke. I've learned alot from them, just not what I need to know. Any help ya'll could give would be appreciated.

Looks like a case of RTFM, I'm afraid, as I don't think many people would buy them. Frankly, anything an action can do, you can usually do yourself even quicker when you get the knack. Examine the actions steps and see how it operates. Sorry, thats all I can say.

No FM, no action. (Come to think of it, that's the story of my life, right there.) It's just a collection of 500 X 165 pixel psd files which, through some arcane incantation which i don't know, can be turned into borders or frames. Thanks for the help anyway, but it looks like I'm SOL.

Mail me the action, and I'll have a look. Tryptych@yahoo.com

Stv, maybe isolate a segment of the chrome wire and make a brush and paint yourself a border... might work, just thinkin' out-loud...

...granted, it's a "piss-poor" solution, sorry

look in layers options, somewhere in your layers menu, there should be something in there to create borders, then you have to find the file for the wire and get it in there somewhere. Wish I could give you a better explanation. I've never actually done it, just noticed it was there while looking for other stuff. At least I think it's there
