i'm using a program named Pro Desktop to make my props for Poser unfortunately, it does not export as any of the formats that Poser accepts as a default... it can be exported as .atb, .asc, .vda, .iges, .step, and .ed is there any way to change the import directory in poser to accept some of these formats?

Ah... the ones I recognize are all CAD formats and the only CAD format Poser read is DXF. PolyTrans converts .iges (Initial Graphics Exchange Specification) but you have to buy Polytrans and the additional .iges plug-in (link above). You might try searching for some of the CAD forums on-line and see if there isn't some sort of freeware that will convert to DFX. Also, I've read that the Rhino modeler now reads .step and if you're desperate you might get someone here at the Rhino Forum to do the translation. MAX 5 also reads .iges, I've been told. Too bad I've only got 3.1 :o(

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
