trying to build custom afro in maya on mac and bring into poser 4. What is the best file format forthis interchange? I would think .obj, but it wont even show up in poser in this form.....
Isthere better support for file import in poser 5?
What format do you use?

the .obj file format between Poser and Maya doesn't work all that well. here is a link to a plugin for Poser

As you are on a Mac you might have to use Maconverter to make Poser "see" the obj-file. I don't know about Maya but with Cinema4D I have to do that.
