I found this link for a new LightWave to Poser plug-in on Flay.com. The Plug-in is suppose to allow native hosting of the CR2 file into LW. Also you can export the files back into Poser with the modification.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Wish someone would write one of these plugins for Cinema Guess I'm going to have to get Lightwave.. $95 doesn't sound bad to me if it will do everything it says. This would be a great addition for me since I do a lot of animation work and clothing modeling. JMO Ed

EdW, I'm writing one "as I write"!!! There is a long way to go, but it at least will support bone rigging. Morphs may come later (depending upon how much trouble they are to duplicate within C4D). Oh, and it won't be $95! ;0) It will be reasonably priced. BYS

To add, not bad for $95. It does everything I'm trying to do with my C4D plugin and the cliched "MORE!". Very nice looking indeed. Believe me, creating something like this is intensive work and I'm a seasoned programmer (salt, a little pepper). You have to deal not only with the .cr2 file, but its associated .obj files, imbedded .obj files, and the infamous GetStringRes(), among other Poser oddities. And in my case, all alone. :( Thanks for the link, OneShot, BYS

@EdW Cinema Plugin, have you try this one: http://www.amazonescity.com/download/free3dformembers/index.htm Ask Niki in Cinema Forum about the plugin: http://forums.mec4d.com/viewforum.php?f=36 Mazak

Yes I've tried it... You can import animations with it. It's only good for stills. BYS... that's some of the best news I've heard in a long time. I have been working on Mike, V2 & V3 in Cinema adding bones to them and setting all the weights... What a pain in the a**. Ed

Damn typos can=can't

It loads morph targets into Lightwave? Let me get this straight before I get too excited, does this mean you will be able to change morph settings (facial expressions, breast size, etc) from within Lightwave????

That sounds cool, I'm almost sold. But exactly how much "organizing" do you have to do. Is it something tedious and long? (I'm ashamed to admit, I'm a very lazy person) :)
