Wanders around lost.. never been in here before so please tell me what is it the writers do in here? (other then write ;P) how does it all work?... you know the usual stuff ;) and where is the coffee machine?...... cheers kyle

Coffee is right over there in the backroom called The Library (see banner). Just follow the smell of freshly baked bagels and cookies and donuts. You nailed it. Writers write (and other things). And comment on each other's writings (sometimes). And share resources (and amusements). And discuss writing (and topics not about writing but which are written). And support each other in new ventures (writing related and not). Challenge each other (and sometimes tease each other). Think philosophical (and not so philsophical thoughts). Cruise the archives and you'll get a feel for what we do. Welcome and I hope you decide to linger.

Hey D...stay away from the virtual donuts. I've been looking at them for the past half-hour. Ow (whip cracking)I think my taskmaster wants me to look at those poems. Bye!

I'm a bagel person myself on it...everything bagels with just a touch of cream cheese. Comfort food. Crescent even has bowls of strawberries, cherries and grapes. She's a thoughtful hostess. :) (The mimosas are on me...California oranges and California champagne.)

Take a look around, post poems, stories, critiques on others' works, questions on books, writing, etc. Just stay away from my chocolate and there won't be any problems! ;-)

I'd like to make it clear that I bagsied the chocolate. I need it to cover up spelling mistakes on my work. Watch out or I'll start posting my "Odes to Chocolate" Shanna :-)
