Everyone off writing?
jagill posted Fri, 21 February 2003 at 5:56 PM
I've actually been busy rendering. Hope to have some new images up soon to go along with some new poems.

Oh good, that gives me something to look forward to. :) I could hear everyone busily working away...I just got a little lonely here with my blocked imagination. I'll tiptoe away now so you can get back to being creative.

I've been busy too. Posted my two pics in beginners gallery and now feel compelled to keep going and seeing if anyone has looked at them! Also trying to work out how to make my first prop. And planning some pics to illustrate the poems etc... I've got up on my artist page. And wondering about my new job! I put new stuff up in my artist page, more than in here. It's a bit dispiriting when nobody comments. Present company excepted Dialyn :-) Back soon, maybe someone else will have had a look lol Shanna :-)

Well, cast your dispiriting feelings aside. I always look at things the writers have done. I don't usually browse the galleries but I am always interested when a writer lets me know they have done something.
PS: Kinda didn't remember you at first, but when I visited your artist page and saw the "Sheep" story, I remembered right away.

What happened to your little turkey?
ChuckEvans posted Fri, 21 February 2003 at 9:25 PM
Well, I thought I would dispose of it for the moment. Can't have the local populace thinking my 7k turkey is causing a download slowdown. Besides, everyone knows I'm a turkey...no need to advertise J
**ABSCOND**, *v.i.* To "move in a mysterious way," commonly with the property of another.

No one would think such a fowl thought of you. I imagined you had chickened out or your turkey had flown the coop. I can be such a bird brain sometimes.

Now, that's just plain funny! Didn't even leave me room to respond with adequate pun words though you surely egged me on.
**ALLIANCE,** *n***.** In international politics, the union of two thieves who have their hands so deeply inserted in each other's pockets that they cannot separately plunder a third.

I've been pretty busy the last few days helping with Geography homework. And tonight, trying to get my prose entry submitted before it's too late. I think I made it. S. - I know what you mean about lack of comments. Afraid I have to plead guilty on that one lately. I'll try and do better. :-) jon

Well, while you all were busy, I decided to spend my time of odeathoflife's little robot. Darn thing is so cute...kind of overcame my reluctance to do anything s.f. (not that my resulting graphic is remotely s.f. to the true believer). So maybe my imagination wasn't exhausted after all. Shoshanna, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your graphics. Very cool.

I'm reconstructing the story that disappeared on me - I'm 2/3rds of the way done on the first draft. It is in need of some serious polishing as well. I'm also working on Lightwave 7.5. It's currently kicking my butt! Chuck - Those quotes are great! I stole two of them for my web site. (It has a random quote generator on the bottom of each page.) I'll have to look some more of his quotes up some time. Thanks!

I've been trying to follow the Houdini tutorial at 3dbuzz. Lots of info but too much background noise.
