Now this model is different, it is a .3ds file with materials assigned but not applied. When we created this it, the size as an object file made it 10 mb. We thought that was just to big for a prop, so we changed it to a smaller file and that is a .3ds so it can be used easily. You can apply your materials to it as an .3ds file easier, cause like I said it does have materials assigned to it. Hope you like it and can use it. Ah! my favorite time of the week. Wow. What style! What panache! That would go well in a certain plantation house I know. Thanks. Now to find a grand piano and a Liberache morph for Dork...

LOL...yes, it is good but sure was a pain....I don't know why some models work so well, and the simplest ones give you such a problem. Glad you like it. Sharen

It's beautiful, Sharen, thank you. :) We had freezing rain and then a lot of snow yesterday and last night. I hope you don't have to go anywhere and the roads will clear up soon, Sharen.

That's lovely, thank you. I don't know when I'll find a use for it, but it's too good to miss out on. You guys produce awesome work, and your freebies are light years ahead of a good many "paid for" models.

martian manhunter is correct, I don't like the way we have it, but until we can fix it that is how you do it, just refresh it. Sharen PS: sorry for the inconvience.

Somebody mentioned Liberace, so I thought I'd add this. My great uncle sold a nice candelabra male statue holding handles to Liberace back in the 60s. If I could find a nice photo of it and send to Sharen, maybe she could make it. I do have a photo, but I don't think it's the greatest quality. The statue has his clothes on, I think. My great uncle (who was gay) was a good friend of Liberace's. He was also into chandeliers as well. If I had Sharen's talent, I'd do it myself, but I don't.

Whew I thought I was going crazy for a sec. Saif the raft was a lamp and that the well prop was a clock. hahaha! Thanks for the tip on refreshing, fixed it right up. The Chandiler is wonderful, thanks. Thanks for all the freebies, they are wonderful.
artnik posted Sun, 23 February 2003 at 11:06 PM
Just thought I'd mention, I tried a few minutes ago. The page is back to normal, and I D/L'd the chandelier. Thanks again. You are so good to us!

I am amazed that you all like this, I was putting this off from posting it, really didn't think it would go over so well. Anybody that has pictures of things they would like us to give it a try, we welcome that. Just remember we kinda suck at organic models. But whbos, we would love to see what you would like. Sharen
RHaseltine posted Mon, 24 February 2003 at 1:28 PM
Aren't 3ds models un-UVed, at least as far as Poser is concerned. Try exporting as an OBJ and loading it in UVMapper Dizzie.
SAMS3D posted Mon, 24 February 2003 at 1:51 PM
RHaseltine, you are right that will work, but the prop file will be at least 10 mb large, don't you all think that is a little big for a prop? Just wondering what you all think? Sharen
