Some time ago, I saw in the FS area a group of futuristic weapons "Unreal Tournament" alike. I was looking for that now but I did not find them. Can somebody help me to find them? Thank you!

Yep, they're gone. I tried 4 different searchs and came up empty :-( I did pick up some of them so I can look at the read me and see if the creator has a site listed, failing that I could mail them to you :-)

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.

There was an outcry from those who believed that without explicit permission from Epic Entertainment, posting the meshes was a violation of copyright. They were removed.

We KNEW that it was a violation of copyright. Those meshes were ripped directly from the game itself. If you use or distribute those weapons, you are dealing in stolen property.

i just downloaded a bunch of WWII weapons for the halflife dod game in mdl format then used the milkshape demo to convert to obj.it was very easy to do.i would guess you could do the same thing with the UT weapons.

What is the Milkshape Demo ..is it Mac compatible One other thing... What is .MTL ,,, what do i need to load them on a Mac. Have anything to do with OBjaction Mover. If so isn't that a PC specific Prog? I cant get any OBJ's that come with a MTL file to load Ideas ???

MilkShape website

MilkShape is an inexpensive 3D modeling application, originally created to build Half-Life meshes, but it now has file format support for dozens of games. PC only, although I suppose it might run under emulation.

A .mtl file contains material information (texture filepaths, material colours, etc.) for its corresponding .obj file.

Objaction Mover is PC-only. It encrypts .obj files for distribution.

Objaction Movers functions are duplicated in Maconverter

halflife dod weapons are in MDL format not mtl.like little dragon said mtl is a partner file for an obj.not all prog xport a mtl when exporting an obj.poser does (on pc).i think you can use lightwave to import a textured obj and then xport it without getting the mtl.hence loosing the color and texture info.
