Thought you all might like to see a sample of my newest "seamless synthetic skin - totally digital" texture/character for Michael 1 and 2 called DigiMan2. I am planning on releasing it to the marketplace sometime this week, and would appreciate any thoughts, comments, or suggestions you might have. He comes smooth, hairy, and with optional tattoos. 4 bonus green, grey, blue, and brown eyes are also included in the package. He is a companion to my DigiMan1 that has been available for downloading in the freeby (search on Michael) section for some time (over 1700 to date). Enjoy! -Frankfunk

Thank you, Stormrage...I really have enjoyed seeing your renders here at Rosity! Hope to see a few of your creative efforts using DigiMan1 soon. I'm waiting to hear if my DigiMan2 passed all of the necessary tests and becomes available in the marketplace. Hopefully SOON! ;)

Again, I say...your work is wonderful! I'm especially pleased to see others like yourself posting male nudes here besides myself. I just posted a new render in the gallery showing another example of what can be done using my new DigiMan2. Rather erotic, but no more so than a lot of renders I am seeing at Rosity lately. ;)

very cool S i like the freckles on DM2 makes him more realistic in my book. People have imperfections (agespots, moles, freckles in the oddest places.

Thank you again! DigiMan2 was created and intended for fantasy renders, as opposed to photo-realistic. I wanted him to have just enough real features to be convincing without looking totally plastic. Your correct, the average john doe is full of minor imperfections...that's what makes for interesting texture options. This technique I am using also help me hold the price of the package to a minimum because I don't have to rely on photos, seam mis-aligning, etc. I create all of the skin and parts I need "on-the-fly" digitally in Photoshop 7.

raising eyebrow.. Really? That is something I would be interested in finding out how you do that

frankfunk posted Wed, 26 February 2003 at 9:02 PM

Ah, I am treating that one as a trade secret! If you have Photoshop, or any other photo-manipulation software, experiment with it...you might be amazed what you can come up with on your own. That's how I did it! ;)
