You create a Poser file and save it. Later on you try to load the same file again but because maps (or heaven forbid, .obj's) have been moved, archived, etc. the file won't load. The only way to archive is to keep the original .zips and .exe's around and hope you can put all the pieces back together. What we really need is a Poser-to-Poser Grouper program that takes all the .obj, .rsr, .cr2, mat files, texture maps, bump maps, reflection maps, transparency maps for all the entire group (props and morphs included) and save them out into one directory so they can be zipped up and archived as a set. Grouper 1.4 by Brandenburg technologies (http://www.castironflamingo.com/tutorial/grouper/index.html) at Cast Iron Flamingo does a great job of this for an exported .obj being sent to Bryce. The only thing I can think of now is to list all the relative files using something like Poser Explorer's Info panel then go out and copy all of the files to a single directory - then rebuild the entire figure using the local files in the directory (including changing the .cr2, etc). Man! There's not much future in that. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this for Poser-to-Poser?
