I love all the tattoos that are showing up around here. Having 3 myself (dainty, girlie-type tats), I'd love to add some to my work. What are some of the ways that they can be added?

How do you want to use them??

you don't mean to lay on a scanner and bring the tat' into PS, do ya? ;)

Actually working with the "blend modes" are one of the best ways to add elements from one layer into another...

Yes, layers and blend modes... and opacity: so you'll get a softer, not pasted-on look. I am assuming that you are going to place them on the skin textures as opposed to postworking them onto the finished image?

Well, I could lay on the scanner, but I might get in trouble when it breaks! :) Yep, I think they'd look better if they were on the texture to start with. Thanks for your input... I really appreciate it.

I have had problems with the tat not looking as sharp on my figure after it has been rendered. =( they sometimes end up muted and slightly blurry like an old tat that's faded. not quite the look i wanted, lol.
