I was just looking at the lesson on rendering, and the presenter said that in order to get the best render, you should pick 4 in object detail. I had always thought it was .5. I thought it was just a slip, but he mentions this at least twice. The manual leads me to believe this is wrong, but manuals have been known to be wrong before also. So my question, is this indeed an error in the lesson?

.5 is correct. The lower the number, the more accurate the detail.

I would also recommend 0.5 but I've also found that it makes little difference in the GI renderer. -Kix
