Does anyone knows wher I can get sample ideas for refernce of matrix style art? Like the virtual world lines ? Thanks

I think he means the "bullet time" video technique. The producers of Matrix said they wanted to use scenes that couldn't be imitated, like the 30-minute freeway-car-chase in "Reloaded", but anybody with Poser or Lightwave can do a "bullet-time" video quite easily.

I actually I mean like the poster with the letters and a scene that represents virtual reality. You kno, like the representation of what the virtual world looks like.

Erm, going out on a limb here - but how about the Matrix DVD? I'm almost certain there will be the odd reference in there.

Arent there any other reference material beside the matrix to create electronic looking backgrounds? Inside the machine and the like. Represnteation of what the inside of the machine in virtual reality might be like. Remenber Hackers? When they are going through the system in virtual reality? That kinda of thing. Or Tron(but better graphics) I have been trying to come uo with decent searches but I get blanks. Help

Inside the system? In the movie only ref is the 'real world' of the bots or the end of movie where Neo sees the walls as matrix filled text making the 'walls' of the world. What are you looking for? There is the matrix comics from the movie web site, there is a matrix book that has pictures of bots, concept art, and storyboards. Maybe in movie 2, or 3 you'll get more 'whats in the system' but as far as ref materials what ya see in the movie is about it.

Of course. I didnt mean exclusivly the matrix as reference material, I was looking at the Tron 2.0 and that also has lots of good pics and ideas, but the more the merrier
