I want to map a tile pattern on a pyramid object. Which mapping technique should I use so that the tiling is always perpendicular to the ground? That is to skirt around the pyramid as in a cylinder. Thanks

The cone mapping and set it to faces think will work. Cubic might works too if you set it to faces. Almost anyone should work if you set it to faces. Procederal textures will be harder to work with I think than a bmp picture with such a object shape,
