Hi ya'll!

I've been working on this website for the past month. It's for the photostore i'm working in. The thing is i'm getting paid for this so I'd hate to leave it half done or anything like that!

That's why I need you guys to check it out and tell me if there's anything that's missin and what you think of the design.

It's in Finnish and Swedish so here's a hint. Press the "SISN" or "IN" text on the first page ;)

The address is www.fotopar.cjb.net

Thanks very much guys!

Just a note. Most people use Windows default colors. Yours isn't set. The code is in the
BRACKETbody bggrnd="#FFFFFF"BRACKET
for white. Without this I get a gray background. I haven't looked at your code but this is the first thing that jumped out at me. I don't use default colors so I see this when others may not. If the Browser is set to Use Windows Default Colors they will miss it. I viewed the page with Netscape 6.2 and everything seemed to line up well. My wife uses Opra and Netscape for testing because they seem to be less forgiving than IE. She is am HTML Editor by trade. You may want to give them both a try just to check compatability. Also if you know someone that uses the AOL browser I would ask them to take a look to. AOhelL is a bit of an oddball. Magick Michael

Second Issue: With Netscape 6.2 the only links that are on the page are the two to Microsoft downloads for IE and the one at the bottom to your website. The "SISN" or "IN" text doesn't show at all. I assume that the red text is stating that the page is only viewable in IE. Personally, that would stop me from viewing the site. I only use IE to test my site for accessability for those that don't use Netscape, Opra or Mozilla. I have been on the web since before IE existed and I just don't like IE. IMHO a web site should be viewable in all browsers not just one. Cross platform access can be an issue too. I would make sure that you have at least one MAC user test the site with as many browsers as possible. Last note. You have centered your tables and set them up for the average user at a resolution of 800x600. This is the safe way but keep in mind some people may use odd sizes, say a non-maximized browser. Not a major issue but if you are ging to say best viewed with IE you may want to add "with the browser maximized." Of course that could be there and i wouldn't know. I am a stupid American that only reads English. (No I didn't vote for him so you can't blame me for that mess) :-)~ Magick Michael

Looks and structure seemed fine for me, if a little slow at times (modem connection, y'see?) If, like a lot of people looking at a site for the first time, you flock through from one page to the next having a quick look (ie letting the first couple of products appear etc etc) the blue r/h side picture either doesn't get the chance to load (so it looks like a blank space) or finishes loading as you go onto the next screen. Might be worth breaking it down if you can? Oh, btw, don't tell your boss but with that moustache he looks like a 1970's porn star.....lol.... if his wife gets bored with him you can send her over here, tho' ....... (",)

JordyArt: Haha... don't worry! I won't tell him ;) I was thinking about making some kind of preload script that would load all the sidebars. Does that sound like a nice idea. I know about the issues with other browsers than IE, and you're perfectly right when you're guessing that the red text means "switch to IE5.5 or newer version", Michael! I early on decided to go for IE, though since statistics show that 97%, or something like that, use IE when they're surfing... Thank you really much for pointing out that default color thing!! I'll write that up right away so I don't forget it :) Thanks for your answers. I really appreciate it! If there's anything else... just let me know! :) Cheers!

Looks good from here (although I can't read it). i took a peek at your code and noticed that there were no keywords, and your title didn't seem to be very descriptive - which is fine, unless you want this site to shoe up with any strength at all with any of the search engines. Other than that - it looks pretty good.
