I even scared myself with this render. This looks so much like me, it's uncanny. Well me on a very good day. This was conmpletely done in Poser 4, with the tiniest touch up in PhotoShop. A little smoothing of some shadows, and one touch up on the nose. Sorry to post another portrait, but if you knew me you'd be schocked how much this does indeed look like me. I guess I AM the Poser dork. There was very little morphing involved. James

James, great portrait! I finally got up the nerve to do one, too. It's under the thread called "Hi, from Melanie." This is great fun. Your work is just astounding. You have done some of the most realistic images I've seen yet. I've started a directory on my hard drive that I call Portraits, sort of an album or "yearbook" of Renderosity member self-portraits. I hope to see more members try this. It puts a face to the name. Melanie

Brilliant mapping of your image and very realistic, Poser can still surprise us with it's results...a very stange piece of software...I guess that's why we like it... Maybe that could be a new thread...what phychological need are we all playing out by using it Eeech...maybe we're all suffering from Poserism...a very nasty compulsive behaviour problem :) By the way I hope you don't mind me saying that the shirt Model/texture and the cigarette distract from the realism some what. Tribe: The shirt needs a collar BUMP map; otherwise it's almost identical to one I used to own... Poserism? LOL. I think that's more for people at Renderotica... ;-)

I'd have to say that's the best piece of Poser art I've ever seen, certainly in terms of realism.
