Just a couple of photographs from my last trip into the city...first one from the underground station of the "next train" to depart...

This one from an overground station...a shot across the top of the stairs leading up to the platform. Both of these were taken with my 1.3 mp digital and converted to B&W in Photoshop...some adjustments to contrast and mild unsharping done. Comments or critique always welcome! :-)>

Really like #1 PC. [Incredible detail in the render; check out link.]

Hey PC...like #2 Especially how the diagonal shadows seem to blend with the other lines. I also think capturing that writing at the bottom left corner adds to the interest of this shot! B&W suits this one well! L8r!

Punksy, what the hell are you on? What do you think you're doing posting photo's in the Photography Forum? Have a look over the previous batch of posts - can't you see that it just isn't vogue to do that anymore?!? No wonder you live in Australia....... (",)

Hey PC nice shots. I like #1 love the depth. Heck I just like subway shots, we don't have any around here.

Thanks peoples...Misha LOL ~ "Incredible detail in the render" I knew this shot reminded me of something I'd seen in your gallery! Even down to the curved roof...thanks for the reminder, I see someone else has taken a similar photographic shot as well. See what you started! :-)>

best to label number 2, "Connex Sucks!"

PunkClown posted Sat, 08 March 2003 at 7:04 PM

LOL...yep, I didn't realised I had captured that in the image until I got it home and looked at it! "Connex" is one of the companies that took over part of the (previously) public-owned transport systems when our former state government in their wisdom went on a Privatisation-Frenzy with just about every public utility and service...
